The whole journey, answered for by one team

A shipment usually passes through a booking agent, a carrier, a clearing agent and a transporter. When each one only answers for their own leg, the gaps between them become your problem.

We take the whole movement. We choose the routing and the carrier, negotiate the rate, confirm the space, raise the bill of lading or airway bill, clear the cargo and put it on a vehicle to your door. One reference number covers all of it, and one person can tell you where it is.

That includes the unglamorous parts: chasing a delayed transhipment, rebooking when a flight is pulled, and telling you early when a schedule will not hold.

  • Door-to-door and port-to-port movements

Freight Forwarders: frequently asked questions

What does door-to-door freight forwarding include?

Collection at origin, export clearance, the main air or sea leg, import clearance at destination and final delivery to the receiving address — booked under one reference and one quotation. You deal with one desk instead of a forwarder, a clearing agent and a transporter who each answer only for their own leg.

Do you handle shipments where you are not the origin agent?

Yes. On import movements we coordinate with your supplier’s nominated agent overseas, take the handover at the Indian gateway, clear the cargo and deliver it. Where you would rather we controlled the whole movement, we appoint our own agent at origin.

How will I know where my shipment is?

One person on our desk owns your consignment from booking to delivery and gives you milestone updates: space confirmed, cargo uplifted or sailed, arrival, entry filed, cleared and delivered. If a schedule is going to slip, you hear it from us rather than from the receiving dock.

What is the difference between an airway bill and a bill of lading?

An airway bill is the contract of carriage for an air shipment and is not a document of title, so cargo is released to the consignee named on it. A bill of lading covers sea freight and, in its negotiable form, is a document of title — the cargo is released against the original document. We raise whichever your movement needs and explain what the consignee has to present at destination.

Can you take over a shipment that is already stuck?

Often, yes. If cargo is sitting at an Indian gateway on a clearance problem, send us the documents and the entry details and we will tell you what is actually holding it and what it will take to release it, before you commit to anything.
