Eyes on your shipment
Cargo Services
Inspection, examination and on-the-ground representation, so you know the condition of your cargo without being there yourself.
Someone at the terminal, acting for you
When your cargo is examined a thousand miles from your office, you are relying on somebody else's account of what happened. We make that account a documented one.
Our staff attend inspections and customs examinations as your authorised representative, verify condition and count against your packing list, and send photographs the same day. If something is short, damaged or wrongly marked, you hear it from us with evidence attached, in time to act on it.
The same team handles pre-shipment inspection at origin, so problems are found before the cargo moves rather than after it arrives.
What this covers

Before you book
Cargo Services: frequently asked questions
Can you inspect my cargo before it ships?
Yes. We carry out pre-shipment inspection at origin, checking condition, markings and piece count against your packing list, and send photographs the same day. Finding a shortage before the cargo moves is far cheaper than proving it after it arrives.
Will someone attend the customs examination on my behalf?
Our staff attend inspections and customs examinations as your authorised representative, verify the cargo against the documents and report what was opened, what was found and what was resealed, with photographs attached.
What happens if my cargo arrives short or damaged?
You get a written condition report with photographs the same day, describing the packaging, the markings and the discrepancy. That is the evidence your insurer and your supplier will ask for, and it has to be raised promptly to hold anyone liable — which is exactly why we document it at the terminal rather than later.
