Paperwork, handled before it holds you up
Custom Clearing Agent
Licensed clearing at the airport and the port, with a desk that knows what your commodity needs before the shipment lands.
Clearance that starts before your cargo does
Most delays at customs are not caused by customs. They are caused by a document that was never asked for, a classification nobody checked, or a permit that took three days to find. We work the other way round: we read your paperwork while the cargo is still in the air, and we raise the gaps with you then, not at the terminal.
Our clearing desk is licensed to act on your behalf at the airport and the port. We file the entry, attend the examination, answer the appraising officer's queries and coordinate duty payment through to release. You get told what is happening at each step, by a person who knows your consignment.
Different cargo carries different requirements, so we keep separate commodity desks — medicines, perishables, garments, machinery and chemicals each have their own checklist and their own handler.

Custom Clearing Agent: frequently asked questions
How long does customs clearance take in Delhi?
When the documents are complete and the entry is not selected for examination, clearance at the IGI air cargo terminal is usually a matter of hours rather than days. Delays almost always come from paperwork — a classification query, a missing licence or a certificate that has to be obtained after arrival. We review your file before the cargo lands so those are dealt with in advance.
What is a CHA licence, and are you licensed?
A customs house agent licence authorises a company to file entries and act before customs on an importer or exporter’s behalf. Our clearance is carried out by our own licensed desk at the airport and the port rather than subcontracted to a third party, which is why we can answer a query on your entry the same day it is raised.
What happens if customs raises a query on my shipment?
We attend the examination as your authorised representative, answer the appraising officer’s queries and supply whatever supporting documentation is asked for. You are told what was asked and what we have filed in response, the same day — not after the fact when the cargo is already accruing demurrage.
Can you classify my goods and estimate the duty before I ship?
Yes, and it is the cheapest hour you will spend on the shipment. Send us the product description, composition and end use and we will identify the tariff heading, flag any licence or certificate requirement, and give you the duty position before you commit to the purchase order.
Do you clear restricted commodities such as pharmaceuticals and food?
We keep separate commodity desks for medicines, perishables, garments, machinery and chemicals, because each carries its own regulatory file — CDSCO for drugs, FSSAI for food, Plant Quarantine for agricultural produce. The consignment is handled by staff who know that commodity’s checklist.
